These are a selection of my own flies that I have done for an article that I do for the Irish anglers digest Magazine every month.
They are my own patterns that I fish with and tie for people .
If you are looking for any of these patterns to be tied please contact me .
The first picture is the blue winged olive this fly has given me some fantastic fishing on my local rivers I have sent this fly to a number of friends who also have had great success with it.
this is the Murrough sedge another good pattern, It is a big fly tied on a size 10 or 8 long shank hook.
if you scale down the size it will work equally as well for dark sedges
This is probably my favourite spent mayfly pattern.
it is done with a loop wing of CDC plumes.and floats like a cork,
this fly really sits up well in the water and works well on both river and Lough.I tie an enormous amount of these flies every year they really do look the part.
